Niftylift NZ visits Bauma Trade Show

Bauma is the world’s largest and probably most important trade fair for the building industry. Niftylift was well represented and had a very successful show.

Held from 8-14 April ‘The International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Construction Vehicles, Equipment and Mining Machines’ is held every three years near in the Bavarian capital of Munich in Germany.

The trade fair presents a comprehensive international product range in the area of construction machinery, construction equipment and vehicles and mining machines. Bauma is a hub for international business and an important venue for gathering information and establishing contacts, where building and construction experts from all over the world can inform themselves about state-of-the-art technology.

The Nifty stand at Bauma

Representatives from UK, France, Germany, Holland, to mention a few travelled to Munich to man the stand. Representing New Zealand and Australia at the show, John King spent three days on the stand.

An extensive range of Nifty products were on view, from the HR12 all the way to the HR28 with emphasis on the electric and hybrid power plants.  The new all-electric HR21 was debuted on the stand and attracted a lot of interest from European customers.

John was delighted to be able to meet up with some intrepid representatives from New Zealand based hire companies at the Bauma 2019 Niftylift stand. We say intrepid because – wow – with a floorspace of over 150 acres it was quite a tramp to travel around the show. It really was enormous!

New innovations on show at Nifty World headquarters

John also travelled to the Northern Hemisphere to make factory visits to Niftylift’s worldwide headquarters and production plant at Milton Keynes to gain insight into Niftylift’s future products.  John was also able to give feedback from the point of view of the New Zealand market.

He also got to see the new HR12L – HeightRider 12 metre low weight – in action. This new and innovative product will be available in New Zealand in a few month’s time.
